Transmission of Units

In case of demise of Unit holder the following documents depending upon the category as stated hereunder needs to be submitted

  • Letter from surviving Unit holders to the Fund/AMC/RTA requesting for transmission of Units under the specified Folio/Account
  • Photo Copy of Death Certificate duly notarized or attested by Gazette officer or a Bank Manager along with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • Confirmation of Bank Account Details and signature attestation of the New First Unit holder in the format duly attested by a Bank Manager with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • KYC Acknowledgement Letter of the surviving unit holders, if not already available
  • If the surviving unit holder's PAN is not verified by KYC Registration Agency (KRA), kindly submit the KYC form duly filled and signed along with relevant mandatory documentary proof and In- Person verification.

  • Letter from the Claimant Nominee(s) to the Fund/AMC/RTA requesting for transmission of Units under the specified Folio/Account

  • Letter from claimant(s) to the Fund/AMC/RTA requesting transmission of units under the specified Folio/Account;
  • Photo Copy of Death Certificate(s) duly notarized or attested by gazette officer or a bank manager along with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • Confirmation of Bank Account Details and signature attestation of the Claimant/Legal Heir in the format duly attested by a Bank Manager with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • KYC Acknowledgement Letter of the claimant(s),
  • Indemnity Bond from legal heir(s) on stamp paper of Rs. 200/-
  • Individual Affidavits from legal heir(s) on a stamp paper of Rs. 300/-; and
  • If the transmission amount is below Rupees Two Lakh: any appropriate document evidencing relationship of the claimant/s with the deceased unit holder/s.

If the transmission amount is Rupees Two Lakh or more: Any one of the documents mentioned below:

  1. Notarised copy of Probated Will, or
  2. Legal Heir Certificate or Succession Certificate or Claimant's Certificate issued by a competent court, or
  3. Letter of Administration, in case of Intestate Succession.

*Please note that, in case the claimant/legal Heir submits any document mentioned under (a) to (c), then the Indemnity Bond as mentioned above would not be required.

  • Letter Requesting for change of Karta;
  • Photo Copy of the Death Certificate duly notarized or attested by Gazette Officer or a Bank Manager along with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • Confirmation of Bank Account Details and signature attestation of new Karta have been appended in the bank account of the HUF, in the format duly attested by a Bank Manager with the bank stamp, Signatory Full Name, Designation & Employee Code
  • KYC of the new Karta and KYC of HUF, if not already available; and
  • In case surviving unit holder PAN is not verified by KYC Registration Agency (KRA), kindly submit the KYC form duly filled and signed along with relevant mandatory documentary proof and In- Person verification.   • Indemnity Bond signed by all the surviving coparceners and new Karta on stamp paper of Rs.200/-

In case of no surviving co-parceners and the transmission amount is Rs Two Lakh or more OR where there is an objection from any surviving members of the HUF, transmission shall be effected only on the basis of any of the following mandatory documents:

  • Notarized copy of Settlement Deed, or
  • Notarized copy of Deed of Partition, or
  • Notarized copy of Decree of the relevant competent Court
